audio: our beloved pastor, russ pflasterer

Every fall semester Union University celebrates Global Opportunities (GO) Week to challenge Union students to live their lives for the sake of Christ’s mission.

This Monday, we encouraged Union students to obey Jesus’ command to make disciples in the city of Jackson, Tennessee.

Local ministries come to interact with students, godly men and women devoted to this city come to instruct Union students, and my pastor was invited to preach in a special “Think Globally, Live Locally” chapel service.

I lack the words to adequately express my love and respect of Russ.

Perhaps the best way I can commend Russ Pflasterer to you, commend his sermon from Acts 11, is to tell you that he is a man who exemplifies what it means to be a pastor – exemplifies what it means to be qualified to be a pastor.

I know with absolute certainty that you have 23 minutes, so download and listen to “Captive to Conscience, Not Culture
