spotlight: the semi-public humiliation of Lee Wilson
Okay, the title is a little gimmicky, because if I was really humiliated I wouldn’t post this, but it is a little embarrassing.
If you haven’t heard, Google is sending out invitations to a new service called Google Voice – its an incredible service that will become very popular very quickly because it has the capacity to transcribe voicemails and post them as text for the recipient to read.
Pretty cool technology.
My buddy Stephen received his invite and decided to sign up and test it out – so I decided to test it out …
… To test it out by making a phone call, by pushing this technology to rise to the challenge of transcribing my message.
Let’s just say . . . I won.
What you need to do is hop over to Stephen Capp’s blog to listen to me lay down the gauntlet and put a whuppin’ on Google Voice.
. . . . . .
To the Google spies out there . . . improve the technology, I dare you to rise to the challenge.
