movin’ and a shakin’

Beth here –

She is not mobile just yet, but she sure is moving a lot.

Its hard to get a good shot of her these days.

(All of these photos were taken around mother’s day)

This was shortly after she found her hands

She kicked so hard she ended up on her back.

That did not deter her.

You know where this is going. Yep About 5 seconds post photo, that lovely vase of tulips was on the floor.

I wanted to make a post about these flowers since they were from my in-laws. It turned out to be not such a hot idea.

We salvaged most of them, but a few tulips were missing their petals.

This is about 30 minutes later, she is still hard at it.

Sweet little Abbey.

I know I will look back on these days soon and remember how easy parenting was before she was on the move.

A side note: these leggings she is wearing are my new favorite thing she owns. I think they look so sweet on her. Good job Target!

In some ways parenting gets easier once they can move. Certainly enjoy it while you can, but don’t be sad when it’s gone! Joanna was a much happier human being once she could control her own movements — toddlers are fun! And there isn’t much cuter than a crawling baby… until they put a dead bug in their mouth. Ick. So that part’s hard — keeping everything proofed. Man this is a rambling comment… sorry. :)
