from the hospital: abbey’s birth (14)

[8:30 am, CST]

Currently

Doctor Ball just came to check on Beth.

She is still fully dilated.  She is 100% effaced.  Abbey is at +1 (pelvic station . . . this is a good thing).

They just started her back on pitosin in preparation to push soon.

The doctor told the nurse to tell him when Beth felt pressure down low and he would come back and start pushing to get Abbey out (“no big hurry” he said).

. . . . . . .

My stomach is in knots.  Beth is jittery from the epidural.

She asked that we pray hard that the push would be successful.

So, pray hard.

Update:

Beth: “I just started to feel pressure – its faint”

. . . . . . .
