photo shoots and single digits

Fantastic day for the Wilsons today, let me tick off some reasons why:

The House.

All of our major projects are complete and we are but a stones throw from being completely finished.  This is, in large part, thanks to the help of Jason Nichter – who has sacrificed 3 weekends since January to come help us (godly single ladies, note that Jason has skills).

The Photo Shoot.

Here are the first fruits:

smooth-like-silk

Special thanks to Matt Elia for this piece of art – you can expect to see more sweet shots like these ASAP.

Here’s a clip, just in case you don’t believe me:

[note: subsequent photos will prominently feature Beth and Abbey (in utero) – no more closeups of Lee’s face]

The Baby.

We have arrived at the elusive single digits!

If the doctors know what they are doing, we are looking at 9 days until Abbey makes her big appearance.

I wish that I could adequately communicate how excited we are to see her and hold her.  What an incredible thing – only days away!

. . . . . . . .

Matt Elia pointed out that the 24 second mark on the video is pretty amazing, when paused.

Do you have a favorite second on the video?

I love play and pause.

What was this photo shoot for?

Also, I feel you need to explain your album title in the above picture.

C’mon Lee. Where did those words come from?

You’re readers are dying to know. Awkward stories are appreciated.

I posted a photo of just myself that Matt made to bust my chops – but most of the photos are of Beth and Abbey about to pop out at any second.

We miss you guys a lot.
