Christmas Extravaganza!!!!

December 16, 2006 3 comments

Sorry I’m late on this post, but I’m sure you will are forgive me when we have our super duper celebration of Christmas.

Since activities at the church are not going to be held this Wednesday, we thought that we might gather a bit early at the casa de Wilson (Wilson’s house for all you non-Spanish speaking Kentuckians). So we will all arrive at 7:00 for the festivities to begin.

Plan on bringing the following:

1) A simple gift in the five dollar range for a gift swap (be creative or you will make the game suck and it will all be your fault)

2) Girls bring some sort of food to consume…when you decide what you will be bringing post it as a comment on this blog so we don’t end up with 6 trays of brownies and no cookies.

3) Guys are responsible for bringing chips and some kind of dip (salsa, bean dip, whatever)

4) Write down a paragraph on a piece of paper that answers the following question: In the past year what have learned about Jesus and the gospel that has increased your delight in him the most?

Okay, I believe that you can all handle everything listed above. Remember, the door to bible study is open to everyone, so feel free to invite your friends to celebrate and have fun with us, something as simple as that can go a long way in affirming that Jesus really does bring full life and joy in his gospel.
